The Travel Buddy - £6+VAT

If you are going away for a weekend, you will usually have to remember your phone charger and plug. Go away for longer, and you may need the chargers for your toothbrush, watch, portable speaker, and your power bank too! The Travel Buddy is designed with pockets of various sizes, to fit all of your different cables, and has a larger central section for your plug and power bank.

  Finished size (when empty): 4" high x 6¾" wide x 3" deep

  The Travel Buddy expands by approximately 3” when full.

• Features of the Travel Buddy

  The Travel Buddy has nine interior pockets, to hold all of your bits and pieces:

  • Two flat pockets, one at each end

  • Four half pockets with gussets, ideal for cables

  • Two full width pockets

  • One reinforced central pocket, to fit your charger plugs

  You will also find four interior card slots, and a button and elastic closure.

  Fabric B: 21” x 17”

  Fabric C: 14" x 17”

  Lining: 7 ½” x 16”

  Fusible Interfacing: 36” x 27”

  Fusible Fleece: 16” x 7”

  Cord elastic: 20"

  Sundries: two ½” buttons with shanks, fabric marker, hump jumper, point turner

  Optional extras: fabric glue stick, awl (or other pointy tool), zipper foot, washi tape

• Suggested fabrics

  Fabric A: Cotton quilting weight fabrics; cotton canvas; denim; waterproof canvas

  Fabric B: Cotton quilting weight fabrics; lightweight waterproof canvas

  Fabric C: Cotton quilting weight fabrics; lightweight waterproof canvas

  Lining: Cotton quilting weight fabrics; lightweight waterproof canvas

  Fusible interfacing: Any medium weight fusible interfacing, woven or non-woven

  Fusible Fleece: Vlieseline H630 low loft fusible fleece; Pellon fusible fleece, or similar

  Cord elastic: 2mm or 3mm round cord elastic

• What is included with this pattern?

  The PDF comes as two separate files. The first contains a simple, six-step tutorial with twenty-four photos, enhanced with graphics to make it clearer to understand. The second file contains the pattern pieces, ready for you to cut out and use. All sizes are in inches.
