The Updated Little Crossbody Phone Bag - £6+VAT

PDF Pattern
£6.00 plus local taxes or VAT
This little bag should really be called the Little Crossbody Phone and More Bag! It is designed to fit your mobile, but is a bit deeper so that you can also carry your cards, keys, and sunglasses.
This pattern was originally released in 2022, but now has been given a proper upgrade! You can still make the original version, but the new version has lots of extra useful features.
Style 1 has minimal hardware, making it an easy make to sell at craft fairs, and also a fun gift for the young ones in your life.
Style 2 has all of the usual hardware you would expect in a bag, and inside there are card slots, backed with RFID fabric to keep them secure.
Each piece of this bag is finished off, before finally stitching together
The strap for both bags uses my favourite technique for getting neat finished ends
Both styles have a bound slip pocket to hold your phone
Style 1 closes with a simple tie, and the strap is stitched directly to the bag
Style 2 has a magnetic clasp, and strap connectors, so the strap can be removed and adjusted
Style 2 has card slots for four cards, and uses an RFID fabric backing to keep your cards safe
Both styles are made with fusible fleece inside
You can use two co-ordinating fabrics on the outside for detail, or use just one fabric to keep things simple
Style 1 is a straightforward carton shape, and is very quick to sew, once you have cut out all of the pieces.
You can sew along with the full tutorial video on YouTube:
