The Turned Out Zipper Pouch - £6+VAT
The Turned Out Zipper Pouch may look like an ordinary pouch, but it is full of features!
It has a wide base, so it easily stands up by itself; it is fully lined; it has a recessed zipper, so that it opens wide for easy access; and the pieces are stitched and turned through before being joined together. You can choose from two sizes. Size 1 is a straightforward design, just a plain, lined interior, but size 2 has lots of different pocket options. See below for all of the details.
This pattern has a full tutorial video, which follows along each step. It is free to watch on YouTube. You can watch it here.
This is a downloadable PDF pattern sent to your email, not a physical product, and cannot be refunded once purchased.

Finished sizes (approx.):

Size 2 - 9¾” wide x 7” high x 3” deep
-
Size 1 is a straightforward design with a plain interior.
Both sizes have the following features:
A wrist-strap, connected with a d-ring and lobster clasp
As with my other patterns, there are dots, notches and stitching lines to make it easy to get a great finish.
Size 2 has the following interior options:
An unusual zipped inner pocket, where the zip faces upwards, making it easy to grab and open
A triple pleated pocket, with three flaps with hook and loop closures
An alternative lining piece, to make a plain interior
The option of making a triple pleated pocket without flaps
Or you could make the pleated pocket with an elasticated top, from cotton fabrics or from mesh.
